Tiffany Lanette Farmer Scott, 38, of Decatur, was granted her angel wings on Monday, April 23, 2012, due to an automobile accident.
She was born Nov. 13, 1973, in McMinn County, but lived most of her life in Meigs County. She was a member of the 1992 Meigs County High School graduating class and was employed at Shaw Industries for 17 years as an operator.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Farmer; and her grandparents, George Farmer and Grady and Thelma Raper.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd \"Scotty\" Scott; one son, Dylan H. Scott; one daughter, Darcy M. Scott; her father, David Farmer of Ten Mile; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Russell and Susan Farmer of Clifton, and Mitchell and Connie Farmer of Athens; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be noon Thursday in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with Ralph Rivers and Hugh Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in Goodfield United Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Russ Farmer, Mitch Farmer, Robby Scott, Steve Scott, Carter Scott and Mike Russell.
