Hazel Lee Rowe, 87, of Athens, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2012.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Charles R. and Bessie Murray Partin; her husband, Robert M. Rowe; two daughters, Gloria Jeanette and Faye Conrad; one brother, Otis Partin; and four sisters, Mildred Gosser, Eva Partin, Loretta Partin and Mary Heck.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Michele Rowe of Athens; one stepdaughter, Patti Kelley of Pinebash, N.Y.; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Mary Partin of Tampa, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Chris Rowe, Blake Rowe, Michael Rowe, Aaron Rowe, Vincent Rowe and J.B. Roper.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
