Harry D. Vestal, 73, of Jacksboro, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at his home.
He was a member of LaFollette United Methodist Church, and was a retired real estate broker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ida Carpenter Vestal; and his first wife, Janice Wolfe Vestal. He loved the outdoors, the lake, trout fishing, camping and, most of all, his family.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Lay Lester Vestal of Jacksboro; one son and daughter-in-law, Vann and Tara Vestal of Knoxville; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Valerie and Billy Wilson of Knoxville, and Christy Lester, Marlana and Scott Gann and Sarah Welch, all of Jacksboro; grandchildren, Peyton Wilson and McKenna Wilson, both of Knoxville, and Gabbie Lester and Corri Caruso, both of Jacksboro; one brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Ann Vestal of Englewood; and special friends, David Stout, Asbel Adkins, Rob Woodson and Mike Hatmaker.
Funeral services were 8 p.m. Saturday at LaFollette United Methodist Church with Dr. Kenneth Faught officiating.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Cross-Smith Funeral Home of LaFollette was in charge of arrangements.
