Nellie Pauline Cameron

Nellie Pauline \"Polly\" Cameron, 86, of Madisonville, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at East Tennessee Health Care.

She was the widow of James Edward \"Red\" Cameron, and was a member of Chestua Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, James Stephen Cameron; her parents, M.S. and Rhoda Stratton Sloan; two sisters, Ruth Harris and Jean Stephens; and three brothers, Wright, Robert and Quinton Sloan.

Survivors include one son, John Cameron of Madisonville; two grandchildren, Sharon Elaine Cameron of Madisonville, and James Michael Cameron of Washington; one brother, Royce Sloan of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Biereley-Hale Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Watson officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Little Tellico Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
