Edith Louise Wild

A daughter of the late Samuel and Sue Roberson Wild, she was a native of Etowah, and had lived in Farragut with her nephew and his family since 1992. She had been a member of North Etowah Baptist Church since 1935 and was also a member of the First Baptist Concord Homebound Ministry. She worked at Oak Ridge during World War II, at a hosiery mill in Delano, and was retired from Morgan Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Loyce, Maxie, Nell and Margaret Helen.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
The family would like to extend thanks to Summit View for the special care given Louise over the past 7 1/2 years.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Sam Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in Etowah Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
