Comments on police & they're not all critical
Law enforcement brought in the most comments over the past few days, but no one agency was targeted for criticism. In fact, not all those comments were critical and one actually expressed thanks for help during the weekend snow. |

Dog shooting ignites a storm of indignation
When Calhoun Police James Burris shot and killed a dog on family's front porch, he ignited a firestorm of indignation from many "Sound Off" readers. Some of the comments made were deleted due to their nature and tone, but most are printed below along with opinions on other subjects. |

Readers deliver comments on many issues & subjects
Readers helped keep the "Sound Off" line last week as they delivered dozens of comments on a variety of issues and subjects. There were so many, in fact, that we could not include them all today. We again remind readers that we don't print comments that criticize or praise candidates running for office in upcoming local elections.
