My health kick kicked back

I've gone on a hunting trip this week - hunting errant golf balls and beach towels in Florida. I could have written new material to fill this space, but that would have involved work, and I'm not sure you're aware of this, but I'm about as lazy as it's possible to be without being deceased. So, I've pulled this little gem from the "So It Goes" vault. It's the very first "So It Goes" column in mint condition - a true classic you five people have probably forgotten all about by now. Enjoy!

  • Joseph McMinn Bible makes return to McMinn County
There's no better home for the McMinn family Bible than the McMinn Living Heritage Museum.
The Bible of Joseph McMinn, an early Tennessee governor for whom McMinn County derives its name, was donated to the museum this year by Tom and Joan Barrett of Cleveland.
  • She dabbles - and paints and draws - in it all
You can't keep a good artist tied to one particular style. In Joy Merckson's case, you can't even keep her tied to one medium. She excels in it all. For proof, view her Community Artists League exhibit now on display in the E.G. Fisher Public Library's Mayfield Gallery.
